A graduate of Liverpool university with a 1st class honours degree in computer sciences, Richard has extensive experience in the development and application of artificial intelligence and machine learning within mission critical environments for many of the UK’s leading enterprises.
He served in the software development team of Concentra in Boston, USA then joined RedRock Software to build a new development team. His software development and leadership skills were instrumental in the design and development of Redrock software products which became one of the world’s best-known brands in communications and messaging software. Richard was a key part of the company through its IPO and acquisition by Netstore plc where he served as head of product development, designing and developing applications for deployment as a service at a time when SAAS was in its infancy.
RedRock software was acquired from Netstore by management and with the subsequent acquisition of DG Tech was renamed Celaton. As Celaton’s CTO, Richard has led research and development operations creating an exceptional team that comprises some of the brightest individuals in computer science, artificial intelligence and machine learning from leading British universities as well as deep experience from development and project management.
